Amadeus Austrian Music Award
Austria's Grammy award. HvG won his category in 2001 (Best National Solo Artist in Rock/ Pop) and in 2002 (Best Jazz/Blues/Folk Album). He used his acceptance speech to criticise the lack of support for Austrian artists from the country's media. In 2008 HvG and his band performed the song Showtime on the Amadeus stage.
