a better reception than last time. we dock late in the afternoon somewhere a bit below the city in order to get some water, then we approach the heart of the proceedings. the course for the air show is already set out, little aeroplanes keep bombing over our heads, performing loops, spirals and looping the loop through the air, flying under bridges ... all the pilots know what they’re doing, yet there remains a feeling of incomprehension. not as far as the pilots are concerned, for them it’s certainly a "trip" to be able to show there are in the middle of the city, in the middle of a metropolis. No - was, or rather, whom I don’t understand is the municipality. I pray that nothing happens. in any case the seagulls have left the flying zone and have been driven down the danube, strung together in a chain several hundred metres long.

our concert location will be in the middle of everything tomorrow – right opposite parliament. after the qualification round, at 19.00 hrs, we have about an hour to reach our playing position, moor, put up the stage and leds and begin the concert. it’s actually physically impossible. then there is the integration of a guest band (besh o drom) and a curfew of 22.30 hrs - it’ll probably come down to an act of insubordination. in the face of the conditions, it has to be. the threat of cutting our power should we go over time makes me smile - we don’t need power from anybody in order to be able to play.
