We hire a ship and delve into another world. The world of the delta is a world of water. Everything here is under water, lives in water, lives from the water, lives with the water. Everything liquifies - including the impulse to comprehend the world and things in it and to transcend them anew or at least differently with creativity and design.

Everything is a case of interpretation - in music too. I want to sing, to cry out. But I don't, the silence is too devout. Only insects and birds can be heard. Great flocks of all kinds of birds fly from here to there. Something else not uncommon: water snakes. There is only a little "dry land", instead there is water, as far as the eye can see - browny-green, murky, warm and delightful to swim in. The Captain makes us good strong coffee and gives us a bottle of plum brandy. White swallows, hunting for insects, move with unbelievable skill and manic speed over the surface of the water, around the superstructure of our boat, through the rigging. The camera gives up the ghost and I think to myself, yes, that's about right!
