24th august 2007 - novi sad

the danube moves through novi sad in a big S and our ships moves into the great crowd of people bathing on the beach below the new bridge. there is something mildly absurd about it, the captain pushes our stage ship so close to the shore until we are sitting along its entire length. the venue is a dream, wonderful sandy beach, beyond it pasture, pubs, restaurants...

there is a stage on land where boris kovac, a serbian saxophonist, is playing with his band. it is a perfect evening, which only comes to an end at dawn when rambo and his band leave the ship, returning to belgrade while we continue towards bratislava. we will see each other again in a week, I have invited him to linz for the final concert on 1st september.
