I unpacked my fishing line for the first time this morning and did a bit of fishing. without success, but that doesn't get to me. It's nice just to sit there and to watch the bobber as it dances through the eddy. Nikodem Kern, who has been our Captain since Vienna, says that he liked the concert today in Melk better than the one in Vienna. true, the absence of the din of the donauinsel alone makes it easier to listen. spani - our soundmaster - got around to calibrating the system this afternoon. Only the wind gets to us. it blows all day jiggling material and nerves. we couldn't put the stage all the way up and so had to do without some of the visuals. instead of the projection screen there was a big gaping hole that looked like a window with a view of the Danube and the landscape beyond. That was good too. and Willi Resetarits played again, this time with his Stubnblues gang - he has a great soul and is a wonderful entertainer.
