an unusual atmosphere has been spreading on board for a few days. it is a mixture of thoughtfulness and being overexcited. as is right for the last chapter of the adventure, to be thirsty again for the last drop in the glass. it’s like a big pot of wonderful fish soup, the remainder of which we now want to wipe up with the last pieces of bread.
