Hubert von Goisern guests on Pixner's Jam Session

A unique and thrilling concert from two exceptional musicians:
Herbert Pixner and Hubert von Goisern perform together with their respective bands.

Herbert Pixner doesn't just play accordion, he's in a class of his own. The alpine world musician and exceptional performer from South Tyrol fills big event venues on tour. Now his new project Pixner's Jam Session from ORF Salzburg sees him playing musical host to guests, accompanied by his band, the Herbert Pixner Projekt: Manuel Randi, Werner Unterlercher and Theresa Lehner.

In the first episode of Pixner's Jam Session, Herbert Pixner presents his unmistakeable music pieces and invites Hubert von Goisern to join him, along with members of his band: keyboarder Alex Trebo and percussionist and singer Maria Moling. After tasters from their considerable respective repertoires, a unique jam session develops over the course of the programme, with pieces from both pedigree musicians being completely re-interpreted. The grand finale is a joint performance of Hubert von Goisern's hit Weit weit weg.

The programme is presented by Smart 10 host and Dancing Stars winner Caroline Athanasiadis, while the band Funktrio ensures a good atmosphere throughout the concert.
