| Ein Rucksack voller Lügen - Synopsis |

The developing story of Ein Rucksack
voller Lügen began in 1994 with Leoganger KinderKultur.
Altogether 150 girls and boys co-designed this modern rascal story
- as authors, actors, musicians, lighting and sound assistants. Only
the role of the class swot was not wanted by anybody ...
-
When the school trip falls on just the day when the favourite
football team plays an important match, then there is only one possibility
- and it is called: a pile up. Kathi, Hannes and Joschi scarper - but
not before they drive their teacher, Schwaiger, to the verge of a heart
attack with a great deal of mischief. Thus they come into the benefit
of a soccer game, become unfortunately acquainted with diamond thief
Henry Wolke and have to spend a good part of the night in a brewery.
"Wonderful cheeky children's film from the school
trip to Salzburg, in which pre-pubescent class hooligans give their parents
stress and almost give their teacher a heart attack: two boys and a girl,
boastful, full of ideas and naughtier than a bag of fleas, go astray
to a football match and hunt rogues like Emil once did with the detectives."

www.filmladen.de A school trip is approaching, no reason for
the pupils to be pleased. Especially not when the teacher decides the agenda:
a bus journey to Salzburg, a walk around the city, a castle visit and a
trip to a museum. Only the promised cinema trip in the afternoon provides
a pleasing change. But Hannes, Joschi and Kathi intend otherwise, because
on this afternoon their favourite football team, Vorwärts Steyr, is
playing against Casino Salzburg in Salzburg Stadium.
The three can escape with many tricks and the
bus goes home without them in the evening. The teacher reports them missing
to the police. After initial embarrassment, the three's enterprising natures
and curiosity grows, particularly since nothing can happen to them because
Joschi's grandmother lives in Salzburg.
In a distinguished hotel, where the three flee
from the police, they become acquainted with a smart gentleman who, just
as they do, would rather avoid the police.

Es sieht aus
Wie im Meer
Und die Fische
Schwimmen immer
Hin und her,
hin und her.
Doch das Meer
Ist ganz leer,
Ist nicht mehr
Und die Fische
Schwimmen auch nicht mehr
Hin und her,
Hin und her.
Meine Muscheln sind
Deine Muscheln sind
Meine Muscheln sind
Deine Muscheln sind
Alle fort, alle fort ...
|
Meine Krebse sind
Deine Krebse sind
Meine Krebse sind
Deine Krebse sind
Alle fort, alle fort ...
... und die Fische
Schwimmen auch nicht mehr hin und her, hin und her ...
Uaah, uuaah ...
... und die Fische
Schwimmen auch nicht mehr hin und her, hin und her ...
Nur mehr im Aquarium
Schwimmen nun die Fische
Immer um und um.

| The end of the KinderKultur |
Salzburger
Nachrichten 19th December 2000
For ten years it ranked among the most
innovative and successful culture initiatives in the country. Now the end
of Leoganger KinderKultur threatens.
A decade full commitment. And to to the edge
of self exploitation. Ten years pioneer work in all things culture for
and with children. From the immense number of projects one particularly
stands out: The fantastic, world-wide played TV and motion picture film Ein
Rucksack Voller Lügen. This developed in co-operation with
children under the direction of Wolfram Paulus. Hubert von Goisern contributed
the soundtrack, working together with children. However, now the end of
the Leoganger KinderKultur threatens. Despite a great balance 2000 with
a 2 million Schilling annual budget, over 40 meetings, 3000 visitors and
the publication of a children's book. Werner Sandner, the drive behind
the KinderKultur, together with the three member executive committee decided
to end activity after ten years of voluntary work. The continuous stress
was excessive. Work, family and the expenditure of time connected with
the culture commitment were incompatible. As the attempt failed to find
a full-time managing director, the end of KinderKultur seemed inevitable.
The managing director should have been financed by the government and country.
Werner Sandner: "the country only wanted to give half of the federal
donations. That was too little. Our prospective applicant therefore unfortunately
called off."
