Hubert von Goisern: Acoustic Attacks – The Film
A documentary from the Capital of Culture 2024
A street music journey through the Salzkammergut.
As part of the Capital of Culture 2024, Hubert von Goisern and his guests played on lakeshores, in town squares, in front of churches, in car parks, in front of railway stations and even at a building site. One day they would be in a town beloved by tourists, another date led them to an old quarry on an inaccessible lake shore only reachable by boat. Hubert von Goisern was accompanied by HvG Culture Award winners, long-standing band members as well as musical friends from the USA, who brought with them country vibes, bluegrass and Latin American sounds. The finale of the street music tour took place in St. Wolfgang – the only parish in the Salzkammergut that didn't take part in the Capital of Culture year – in the form of a silent interpretation of Heast as nit worth seeing.
